Step one: the preparation
We take the time to wash your car. We clean it down, and then polish off any scratches that may have been there before we started working on your paint job. This way when you get in touch with us again next year, or even this month for a quick detail service while waiting for professional care - you'll see an amazing difference! The preparation process is one of the most important installation steps we take at the Works Auto Center.

Step two: precutting
An expert installer will have the material cut in bits like a door edge or the fender. This helps to reduce wastage of your precious PPF!
Precutting also helps make this film fit better on small surfaces like headlights, door jambs, and grilles - doesn't that sound neat?
Step three:
fitting
The fitting step is the most tedious and time-consuming in the installation process. Some manufacturers make products for a specific surface, which means that the film has to be installed on that surface.
Carefully fitting the film takes time and expertise. It is satisfactory in the end as you can be assured that the film will protect your vehicle from road debris, rock chips, and many other defects with its self-healing technology.
Step four: applying the solution
Every PPF product comes with a special formula that helps bond the film to the surface of the vehicle. The film already comes with an adhesive. However, the adhesive cannot bond to the surface of the vehicle without the application of the solution. Once the solution is sprayed over the film, it activates the adhesive, which, in turn, helps the film to form a protective coat over the entire vehicle.
Step 5: Final

The final trim step is all about making sure the paint protection film can wrap as many surfaces and edges of your car's exterior. As we lay down this protective layer, our goal is to seal every available surface that needs protecting from scratches or other damaging elements!
Step six:
drying
The polyurethane has to completely dry on the automotive body. This usually takes hours but it's worth it because it solidifies the film that protects your vehicle from light scratches, making sure you enjoy a long-lasting protection for years down the line!
